Dr. Galina Nikolova

Dr. Galina Nikolova holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Spanish from Elmhurst College, where she graduated Cum Laude and an Honors Global Scholar having completed international studies in Spain and Costa Rica. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2020, where she received clinical honors.

Dr. Nikolova has completed clinical rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC, and the San Diego Center for Vision Care in San Diego, CA. She has received extensive training in providing comprehensive eye examinations and treatment of ocular disease for patients of all ages. Her special interests include pediatrics, contact lenses, and dry eye management. Dr. Nikolova is also able to provide eye examinations in Spanish and Bulgarian.

​​​​​​​In her free time, Dr. Nikolova enjoys baking, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family.
